Mohit Sharma became ‘Player of the Match’ for the second time in this season, read how Lucknow’s back was broken

Indian Premier League 2023: In the 16th season of IPL, the team of Gujarat Titans (GT) registered their fourth win this season by defeating Lucknow Super Giants by 7 runs in a low scoring match. In this match, Mohit Sharma played an important role for Gujarat Titans with his bowling and contributed significantly to the team’s victory. Mohit Sharma took 2 wickets in 3 overs bowling with just 17 runs. Mohit was also given the title of Player of the Match for his brilliant performance, in which he got Rs 1 lakh.

After winning the Player of the Match title for the second time this season, Mohit Sharma said that I did not try to do anything special in my bowling, just tried to keep things normal. I think I have managed to maintain consistency. You have to concentrate every time and try to do your things in the right way.

Mohit further said that you should keep practicing continuously and try to focus on the basics and have faith in yourself. Ashish Nehra’s advice was consistent in which we just had to move forward according to our plan. My attempt was to trick the batsman so that he could not understand my deliveries.

Earlier, Mohit got the player of the match in the match against Punjab.

Mohit Sharma has so far played only 3 matches this season, out of which he has won the Player of the Match title twice on the basis of his excellent bowling. Mohit had earlier received this title in the match against Punjab. So far, Mohit may have taken only 4 wickets but in his total of 9 overs, he has given runs with an economy rate of just 4.66.
