Mohammad Nabi has been one of the most successful captains of the Afghanistan team. Resigning from the post of captaincy of the Afghanistan team, Mohammad Nabi wrote an emotional letter on Twitter. Nabi wrote that ‘Our journey of T20 World Cup is nearing its end. The results we had were not up to the expectations of the fans and us. We are very disappointed with the outcome of the match. For the last one year, our team’s preparation was not up to the level that a captain would want or need for a big tournament. Also, in the last few tours, the team management, the selection committee and I were not moving forward with the same thinking, which affected the balance of the team.
