The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is the nodal ministry, which issues orders to block apps considered wrong and harmful to the security and integrity of the country.

Minister Sitharaman said that we have made efforts together. RBI, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Ministry of Finance are working to ensure that common man is not cheated through these apps. He has not given clear information about the number of apps to be banned and what action has been taken.
