History of World Poetry Day

The beginning of celebrating World Poetry Day is considered from Paris. For the first time in 1999, the members of the United Nations considered honoring the role of poetry in life. For the first time it has been celebrated in the month of October. But on March 21, it was officially announced to celebrate World Poetry Day. On this day people around the world celebrate Poetry Day through various programs like reading, writing and reciting poetry.

Meera had such an image in her mind about Krishna that from childhood till her death, Meera considered only Krishna as her everything. When Mirabai danced in the Krishna temple, the rhythm of the mridang rang.

Saligramku tilak made of bhal tilak seed tub ॥2॥
