After continuous retrenchments, the company is now going to end the work from home of its employees. Under this, now the employees of Meta will have to work from office three days a week from September. However, the employees who are working from where they are now can work from there.

According to the Bloomberg report, the company is doing this with the aim of increasing productivity and efficiency. Discussions were going on for a few days regarding this decision by Meta Company. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in March that an internal analysis found that coming to the office at least three days a week to work with a team leads to better performance. Along with this, Meta CEO Zuckerberg also encouraged his employees after the retrenchment.
10,000 employees were laid off in March
In the last March, Meta had shown the way out while laying off 10,000 of its employees. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in March that the second round of layoffs would be completed in three phases over the next few months. Let us inform that in the month of March last year too, Meta had retrenched its employees. Meta is not the only company which is seeing the effect of retrenchment of employees. Employees were also laid off in companies like Amazon.
