Stock Market Closing On 21st March 2023: Tuesday has proved to be very auspicious for the Indian stock market. Due to better global signals, the market opened with a boom in the morning and the market remained strong throughout the day. Due to buying in banking stocks, the market closed at a brisk pace. At the end of today’s trading, the BSE Sensex closed at 58,074 points above 58,000 with a gain of 445 points, while the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 17,107 points with a gain of 119 points. Nifty has also managed to cross 17,000.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 18 closed with gains while 12 closed with losses. While 27 of the 50 Nifty stocks closed with gains and 23 closed with losses.

In today’s boom in the market, there has been a boom in the wealth of the investors. The market cap of companies listed on BSE has come down to Rs 256.89 lakh crore, which was Rs 255.64 lakh crore on Monday. That is, in today’s trading session, the wealth of investors has increased by Rs 1.25 lakh crore.
