Material

  • milk half kg
  • ripe mango half kg
  • Soaked rice 50 grams
  • sugar 1/4 cup
  • Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Pistachios 10 to 12 finely chopped
  • Almonds 10 finely chopped
  • Cashews 10 finely chopped

Phirni Recipe

  • To make Phirni, first clean and wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in clean water for 1 hour.
  • After 1 hour, remove the water from the soaked rice and put the rice in a mixer jar, add 2 tbsp water and grind it coarsely.
  • Peel the mango and cut it into small pieces. And put some mango pieces in a mixer jar and make a paste.
  • To heat the milk, put it on the gas and let it boil.
  • When the milk starts boiling, add coarsely ground rice to it and keep stirring it continuously.
  • Stir it until the milk boils again. Keep in mind that there should be no kernels in it.
  • When the milk starts boiling, slow down the gas, now keep stirring the phirni every 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Rice will be cooked in about 10 minutes. Add sugar, finely chopped cashews and almonds to it and mix.
  • Turn off the gas and add mango pulp to this mixture and mix it well as well as add cardamom powder.
  • Now take out the phirni in a bowl and let it cool down, when the phirni cools down, take it out in bowls.
  • Put some chopped mango pieces on top and garnish it with some finely chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios.
  • Keep these bowls in the fridge and after half an hour take them out from the fridge and serve cold.
