WPL Auction 2023 Full Team Details: The date of February 13 was historic for women’s cricket. The auction was held on Monday for the first season of the Women’s Premier League. In this, a total of 5 teams bought 87 players and about Rs 59.50 crore was spent for this. Along with Indian players, 30 foreign players were also bought in the auction. Smriti Mandhana was the most expensive player of the auction. He was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 3.40 crore.
Three players including Smriti Mandhana were bought for more than Rs 3 crore. Australian player Ashley Gardner was bought by Gujarat Giants for Rs 3.20 crore. Big bets were also placed on Natalie Sciver. She was bought for Rs 3.20 crore. Deepti Sharma’s name is also included in the list of expensive players. He was bought by UP Warriors. Deepti got Rs 2.60 crore in the auction. A good price was also imposed on Jemima Rodríguez. He was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 2.20 crore. Beth Mooney was bought by Gujarat Giants for Rs 2 crore.
