Ingredients to make Sesame Kheer
White Sesame – 1 cup
Milk – 1 liter
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Coconut grated – 2 tbsp
Almonds chopped – 8-10
Pistachio slices – 1 tsp
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
How to make sesame kheer
1. To make Sesame Kheer, first clean the sesame seeds. After cleaning the sesame seeds, put them in a pan and roast them on medium flame.
2. Let the sesame seeds cool down after roasting, while the sesame seeds are cooling down, take out milk in a separate utensil and keep it on medium flame for 10 minutes.
3. When the sesame seeds cool down, grind them coarsely. On the other hand, when the milk that you kept on the gas starts boiling, then mix the coarse powder of sesame seeds in it.
4. After 1 to 2 minutes of mixing the coarse powder of sesame, add grated coconut, finely chopped almonds and sugar as per taste to the kheer and mix with a ladle.
5. Cover and cook the kheer for 5 to 10 minutes. Turn off the gas after 10 minutes.
Your kheer is ready. If you want, serve it hot or after keeping it in the fridge for some time, cool it and enjoy.
