He further said that when Kuldeep Yadav was in NCA after getting injured, Rohit Sharma supported him. Rahul Dravid also encouraged. Therefore, the support of the captain, coach and even senior players like Virat Kohli played a big role in getting Kuldeep back. According to Kapil, Kuldeep worked hard to make a comeback in international cricket. His efforts paid off after taking 21 wickets in IPL 2022.

Kuldeep Yadav returned to India’s ODI team in February last year after about seven months. Since then he has remained in the ODI team. Recently, a 16-member Indian team was announced for the ODI series against Sri Lanka. In which Kuldeep Yadav has also been included. The first match of the ODI series between the two countries will be played in Guwahati on 10 January. Apart from this, the second ODI will be held in Kolkata on January 12, while the third and final match will be held in Thiruvananthapuram on January 15.
