• Sprinkle Ganga water in the north-east corner and clean it. Spread a red cloth on the Pooja Chowki and place a picture of Maa Durga on it.
• Now make a swastika with kumkum on a copper or clay urn and fill it with Ganges water or clean water and put coin, intact betel nut, pair of cloves, durva grass in it. Tie Molly on the mouth of the Kalash and cover it with a lid.
• Tie red chunri on a coconut with molly. Put 5 mango leaves in the urn, fill the lid on the urn with rice and keep this coconut in the middle of it.
• Now place the vessel containing barley and the urn on the right side of the photo of Maa Durga. Invoke Maa Durga after completing the Kalash Sthapana.
