JioBook Budget Laptop: After introducing the budget 4G phone in India, Reliance Jio is now gearing up to launch its first low-cost laptop. According to media reports, the company has named it JioBook. It is believed that this laptop will be launched in October 2022. Jio has partnered with Qualcomm (QCOM.O) and Microsoft for 4G enabled JioBook. A Reuters report has claimed that the price of Jio laptop will be $ 184 i.e. about Rs 15,000.
According to a Reuters report, JioBook will be available for customers working in schools and government institutions by October 2022. After this it will be made available for the market within the next three months. Initially Jio will launch the new JioBook with 4G embedded SIM card, after which its 5G version will be launched. The 5G variant of JioBook is expected to come after the launch of Jio 5G phone.
Talking about the specification, the JioBook will have a processor chip of Arm Limited Technology. Also, this laptop can be run on JioOS and Windows OS. JioBook will be manufactured in India by Flex.
Laptops Available in Rs 15000
Considering the current market of budget laptops, consumers are not getting options under Rs 20,000. HP 14Q-CY0005AU, Asus-E203MAH, Lenovo Ideapad 130 APU Dual-Core A6 and others cost around Rs 20,000. With the launch of JioBook, many companies can make laptops at a cost of around Rs 15,000.
