The 21-year-old young athlete from Tamil Nadu managed only two legal jumps out of six in the final match. Of these, one was 7.82 meters and the other was 7.97 metres. He missed the gold medal very closely. Here Lin Yu-Teng of Chinese Taipei won the gold medal by making a long jump of 8.02 meters. And China’s Zhang Mingkun won the bronze medal with a long jump of 7.92 metres.
