Jampa’s reaction to the cricket grounds of India, told why it is difficult to bowl here

Indian Premier League 2023: In the 16th season of IPL, Rajasthan Royals (RR) succeeded in defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the second time in a row. In the match played in Jaipur on 27 April, Rajasthan defeated Chennai by 32 runs, this time in which leg-spinner Adam Zampa played a very important role with the ball. In this match, Zampa took 3 wickets while giving 22 runs in his bowling of just 3 overs, which includes important wickets of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Moin Ali.

So far this season, Adam Zampa has got a chance to play in 3 matches, in which he has taken a total of 5 wickets while his economy rate is 8.81. After the excellent performance against Chennai, Adam Zampa gave a very shocking statement about the Indian pitches and ground, saying that bowling here is not an easy task at all.

Adam Zampa said in a conversation with Ravichandran Ashwin after the match that bowling in the conditions here is a very difficult task. It has definitely been great bowling with you and Yuzvendra and talking about the conditions here. There is very little bounce and slow pace on the wicket here. If you have played in Australia then you can understand what I want to say.

There is also the benefit of having a large ground in Australia.

In a conversation with Ravichandran Ashwin, Adam Zampa further said that to be honest, where there is extra bounce in Australian pitches, the grounds there are also very large, which makes bowling a bit easier. Half season of IPL is over now and around 600 sixes have been hit, that is why it is not an easy place for the bowlers at all.

Zampa further said that in Australia you can get wickets on top spin, but looking at the bounce here, it looks an impossible task. You have to get on the field with a different mindset to get wickets here.
