JMI To Adopt CUET For These Courses: The UGC had issued an advisory some time ago and had asked all Higher Educational Institutes to give admission to candidates on the basis of CUET exam only. In response to this, Delhi’s Jamia Millia Islamia University has made it clear that it will recognize the Common University Entrance Test score for a total of twenty courses. Of these, 15 are UG and 5 are PG courses. Through CUET, candidates can get admission in 15 undergraduate and 5 postgraduate courses in Jamia.

The list of Bachelor’s courses in which CUET score will be accepted is as follows.
BA (Hons) (Turkish Language and Literature)
BA (Hons) Sanskrit
BA (Hons) French and Francophone Studies
BA (Hons) Spanish and Latin American Studies
BA (Hons) History
BA (Hons) Hindi
BA (Hons) Urdu
BA (Hons) Korean Language
BA (Hons) Persian
BSc Biotechnology
B Voc (Solar Energy)
BSc (Hons) Physics
BSc (Hons) Chemistry
BSc (Hons) Applied Maths
BA (Hons) Economics
Information about PG courses will be given later. Their list has not been published yet.
Candidates should keep this in mind
On the advisory of University Grants Commission, Jamia Millia Islamia University has replied to them that they will accept CUET score only for 20 courses.
In such a situation, those students who want to take admission in various courses of JMI are advised to fill both CUET 2023 and JMI Entrance form for admission here. With this, the selection for courses in which CUET score will not be recognized, will be done through the entrance of JMI.
Exam will be held on this date
The CUET UG exam will be conducted by NTA from May 21 to May 31, 2023. Right now the applications for CUET exam are going on. Interested candidates can apply for this exam by 12 March 2023. To apply, they have to visit this website – cuet.samarth.ac.in.
