IRCTC: Special trains run for festivals, will no longer be for tickets, see time table

Navratri Special Train 2022: The process of festivals has started across the country from today along with the Shardiya Navratras. After Navratri, the festival of Dussehra and then Diwali will come next month. In this festive season, people working from different states of India take the help of railways to return between their homes and families.

Indian Railways has decided to run new trains from different states across the country to reduce the ruckus of tickets in trains during the festive season. This will give a lot of relief to the railway passengers. Durga Puja, Diwali And in view of Chhath festival, the Central Railway Zone will run 82 new special trains on many routes. Railway zone has started special trains in many states, see list.

Many trains on the routes of Maharashtra to UP-Bihar

  • 01025 Special train will leave Dadar Terminal at 14.15 hrs on every Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 3.10.2022 to 31.10.2022 and will arrive Ballia at 01.45 hrs on the third day.
  • 01026 Special train will leave Ballia at 15.15 hrs on every Wednesday, Friday & Sunday from 5.10.2022 to 2.11.2022 and will arrive Dadar Terminus at 03.35 hrs on the third day.
  • Stop at these stations: This special train is Kalyan, Nashik Road, Harda, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati Station, Bina, Lalitpur, Tikamgarh, Khargapur, Maharaj Chhatrasal Station Chhatarpur, Khajuraho, Mahoba, Banda,
  • Chitrakootdham will stop at Karvi, Manikpur, Prayagraj Junction, Gyanpur Road, Varanasi, Aunrihar, Mau and Rasra. This train will have 8 sleepers, three AC-3 Tier, one AC-2 Tier, 5 second class coaches.

Dadar-Gorakhpur Special Train 4 days a week

  • 01027 Special train will leave Dadar at 14.15 hrs on every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 1.10.2022 to 30.10.2022 and will reach Gorakhpur at 02.45 hrs on the third day.
  • 01028 Special train will leave Gorakhpur at 14.25 hrs on every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 3.10.2022 to 1.11.2022 and will reach Dadar at 03.35 hrs on the third day.
  • These special trains are Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Harda, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati Station, Bina, Lalitpur, Tikamgarh, Khargapur, Maharaj Chhatrasal Station Chhatarpur, Khajuraho, Mahoba, Banda, Chitrakootdham Karvi, Manikpur, Prayagraj Junction, Gyanpur Road, Varanasi, Aunrihar, Mau, Bhatni and Deoria will stop at Sadar.

Mumbai-Nagpur Weekly Superfast Special Train

  • 01033 Special train will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 00.20 hrs on 22.10.2022 & 29.10.2022 and arrive Nagpur at 15.32 hrs on the same day.
  • 01031 Superfast Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 11.05 hrs on 17.10.2022 & 24.10.2022 and arrive Malda Town at 00.45 hrs on 3rd day.
  • 01032 Special train will leave Malda Town at 12.20 hrs on 19.10.2022 & 26.10.2022 and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 03.50 hrs on 3rd day.
  • 02105 Special train will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 05.15 hrs on 19.10.2022 & 26.10.2022 and will reach Gorakhpur at 17.15 hrs, the next day.
  • 02106 Special train will leave Gorakhpur at 03.00 hrs on 21.10.2022 & 28.10.2022 and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 13.15 hrs next day.
  • 01043 Special train will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12.15 hrs on every Sunday and Thursday from 20.10.2022 to 30.10.2022 and will reach Samastipur at 21.15 hrs, the next day.
  • 01044 special train will leave Samastipur at 23.30 hrs on every Monday and Friday from 21.10.2022 to 31.10.2022 and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 07.40 hrs on the third day.

Reservation date for special trains

  • Reservation for special trains on booking numbers 01025, 01027, 01033/01034, 01031, 02105 and 01043 on special charges has started from 25.9.2022 on all computerized reservation centers and website www.irctc.co.in.
