IPL 2023: There is to be a mini auction for IPL 2023. Earlier in 2022, there was a mega auction. Where the mini auction will take place, it has not been decided yet. IPL auctions are often held in Bangalore. Five cities have been included for this time’s mini auction, in which Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai and Turkey’s capital Istanbul have been kept.

The final decision on this matter will be taken in the IPL Governing Council meeting. A meeting will be held soon under the chairmanship of the new IPL chairman Arun Singh Dhumal.

Our focus is on Istanbul

Talking about this to PTI, a BCCI official said, “The final decision has not been taken yet, but we are keeping Istanbul in mind. After the Kovid epidemic, we have not had a relaxed conversation with the team officials and this is how we can do it. The final decision on this matter will be taken after talking to all the stakeholders.

List to be submitted by November 15

All the 10 teams present in the IPL have been asked to submit a list of 15 players they would like to keep with them by November 15. The rest of the players will be bidding in this mini auction. At the same time, this time the salary of the teams has been increased from 90 crores to 95 crores.

It is worth noting that last year’s mega auction was held in Bangalore, in which 590 players had registered their names. There were 355 uncapped players in it. At the same time, last year, two new teams were also included in the form of Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans won the trophy in the debut season itself under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya.
