PIB Fact Check has done the claim going viral on social media. In this, PIB has found that this registration letter going viral in the name of Indian Oil is completely fake. People are being cheated in the name of getting IOCL’s gas agency. While sharing information in this matter on its official website, PIB has tweeted and informed that the letter going viral in the name of IOCL is fake. IOCL has not issued any such letter.

In this message, a demand of Rs 4,000 has been made for registration. In such a situation, the Press Information Bureau has warned people not to transfer Rs 4,000 to anyone by trusting such letters. Along with this, do not share your personal information like name, Aadhaar number, PAN card number, bank details with anyone.
