IPPB WhatsApp Banking Services: Big news has come for those who have accounts in India Post Payment Bank. India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has announced the launch of WhatsApp Banking Service in association with private sector telecom giant Airtel. A statement by the Ministry of Communications I gave this information.
Banking Services on Mobile Phones
IPPB customers will now be able to access banking services conveniently on their mobile phones through WhatsApp Banking Service. In this new system, WhatsApp messaging solution will be delivered to the customers through Airtel IQ. It will work as a service of IQ i.e. cloud communication platform, which will enable brands to connect with their customers through voice, SMS and WhatsApp channels.

Abhishek Biswal, Business Head, Airtel IQ said, “We believe there is huge potential in a technology driven financial sector and can take the best financial products to the remotest corners of the country. Airtel IQ India Post Payments Bank customers A robust, easy and secure cloud communication suite being provided. Significantly, Airtel is the first telco in the world to act as a Business Service Provider (BSP) for WhatsApp. Under this new arrangement, WhatsApp messaging solution Airtel will deliver it to the customers through IQ.
What will be the benefits of this new service
- Customers will also be able to avail services like locating the nearest post office along with service request at doorstep.
- WhatsApp messaging will enhance the convenience of connecting with the bank directly at the fingertips of the customers.
- With this, the Digital India Mission of the Central Government will also be taken forward.
how will work
Airtel is working with IPPB to deliver around 250 million messages per month to such customers of the bank. Many of these live in rural towns and tier 2, 3 cities.
