First match: The first meeting between the two teams in the T20 World Cup was held on 14 September 2007. In the first T20 World Cup, India and Pakistan were placed in the same group. In this group stage match, the Indian team had scored only 141 runs while batting first, in response, the Pakistan team was also able to score 141 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Thus the match was tied. The result of the match was determined by ball out. While Indian bowlers had blown the stumps continuously, none of the Pakistani bowlers could throw the ball on the stumps. Second match: In the final match of the first T20 World Cup, India and Pakistan once again faced each other. This match was played on 24 September 2007. Fifth match: On 19 March 2016, the fifth match of the T20 World Cup between India and Pakistan took place. In this rain-affected match, Pakistan team scored 118 runs in 18 overs.
