India vs Australia Wankhede ODI: The ODI series between India and Australia is starting from 17 March. India’s 18-member team for the ODI series against Australia includes bowlers like Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Umran Malik, Akshar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav and even Hardik Pandya. Washington Sundar, Jaydev Unadkat, Umran Malik and Mohammad Siraj are such bowlers who have not had the experience of playing ODIs in Wankhede till date. Whereas Akshar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Shami and Yuzvendra Chahal have participated in ODIs at Wankhede. But these bowlers failed to take wickets.
Only three bowlers got wickets
If we look at India’s ODI team against Australia, then Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya are such bowlers who were successful in opening the account of wickets in Wankhede. Ravindra Jadeja has taken 2 wickets in Wankhede. Whereas, Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya got 1-1 wickets on this ground. These figures show that India will have to struggle a lot to win the first ODI. Otherwise, the Indian team will have to pay in the very first ODI against Australia at Wankhede.
