Zaka Ashraf said in a conversation with an Indian website, “According to me the hybrid model is not in the interest of Pakistan. I did not like it. The PCB should have insisted on organizing the Asia Cup completely in Pakistan. 9 of the tournament The matches will be held in Sri Lanka and only four matches will be played in Pakistan. It is not in the interest of our country.”
Zaka Ashraf has made it clear that he will no longer disrupt the agreement between PCB and ACC. He said that its decision has already been taken and now he will have to go with this decision.

Zaka Ashraf said during a press conference in Islamabad that I have already rejected this hybrid model because I do not agree with it. The board of the Asian Cricket Council had decided that if this tournament is held in Pakistan then it should be held here.
After this statement of Zaka Ashraf where the organization of Asia Cup was seen in danger. At the same time, doubts were also visible on the Pakistani team playing in the ODI World Cup to be held in India at the end of this year. If PCB Chief Zaka Ashraf did not change his stand, then a decision could have been taken to play the Asia Cup without the Pakistan team.
