Jasprit Bumrah: Jasprit Bumrah, who has been out of Team India for a long time, can be seen in the last two Test matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy starting against Australia. He has started bowling practice at NCA. Even before this, Bumrah has returned to the team twice in the last 6 months, but he withdrew his name both times due to not being fully fit. Now the former Australian bowler has made a comment on these decisions of Bumrah and his future.

Former Australian fast bowler Jeff Thomson has said that Bumrah now first needs to find out which format of cricket he wants to prefer. Thomson has said, ‘Bumrah has to find out what he wants to play, short format cricket or Test cricket or he wants to take the field in every format. I think if I was playing cricket in today’s era then it would have been very difficult for me to play Test cricket. Especially because you are getting more money in short format cricket and you can prolong your career with this.

Thomson also says that whatever decision Bumrah takes and whatever format he plays, the fans would love to see him because he is a wonderful bowler. Thomson says, ‘I think cricket fans determine a lot. He knows what a great bowler Bumrah is. If he does not want to play Test cricket then it will definitely be a big blow for the fans but whenever he plays T20 then the fans would like to see him. I just want to say here that if a player confines himself to the shortest format of cricket, then his career can be very long.
