- Ginger 1 inch finely chopped
- salt to taste
- Oil for frying one cup

How to make Chana Dal Tikki
- To make chana dal tikki, wash and boil the dal in a cup of water.
- When the dal becomes soft, turn off the gas.
- Put the dal in a mixie jar and grind it without water.
- Now boil the potatoes as well. Boil the potatoes and mash them.
- Then add one chopped onion, two spoons of green coriander, three green chillies, one small spoon of turmeric powder.
- Make a paste by adding half teaspoon chaat masala, half teaspoon garam masala, half teaspoon ginger and salt as per taste.
- Add ground pulse to it as well.
- Now take a little portion of it and make tikkis out of it.
- Similarly prepare all the tikkis one by one.
- After making the tikki, wrap it in bread crumbs and keep it for frying on medium flame.
- When the tikki turns brown from both the sides, take it out.
- Chana dal tikki is ready, serve it with green chutney.
