ICC Reacts On Team Indian’s Food Problem: After reaching Sydney for the second match in the T20 World Cup 2022, some things did not go well for Team India. After the practice session, the team was given cold and half food. The Indian team complained about this to the ICC. After practice, the team was given only sandwiches and fruits. At the same time, Team India was expecting a full meal. After seeing such food, some players of the team ate fruits and most decided to go to the hotel and have food. The ICC has now reacted to this matter.

It was said by the ICC that the Indian team told us the problem related to food. Talking to the news agency PTI, the ICC official said, “Yes, the Indian team told us about the food we get after practice. We are looking into the issue and the problem will be resolved.”

Speaking to PTI on condition of anonymity, a BCCI official privy to the developments said, “It is not like a boycott. Some players took fruits, but everyone wanted to have lunch and they went to the hotel and had lunch.”

The official further said, “The problem is that the ICC is not serving hot food after lunch. In a bilateral series, the host association is responsible for the food and drink and they always serve hot Indian food after the practice session. For ICC also this rule is same for all countries.

Pactis Venue also had problems

Let us tell you that after this Team India also had to face difficulties in practice. The place to practice was 40 km away from the hotel where Team India stayed. Keeping this distance in mind, the Indian team decided not to practice a day before the match.
