The hydrogen train will be run on Matheran Hill, Darjeeling Himalayan, Kalka Shimla, Kangra Valley, Bilmora Waghai, Mhow Patalpani, Nilgiri Mountain Railway and Marwar-Devgarh Madaria. Later it will be run for other routes.

India is not the first country to do this. Earlier this train is running in Germany and China. Hydrogen train was run in Germany in July this year. Its total estimated total cost is $ 86 million. It can run 1000 km at a time at a speed of 140 km per hour. Its testing was done in 2018.
