The average battery life of Apple Watch is 18 hours. Now with watchOS 9, its battery can last up to 36 hours by turning on low power mode. Whereas Apple Watch Ultra gets 36 hours of battery life without low power mode. However, Low Power Mode is now also available in Apple Watch Ultra. But Apple says that it will bring an update in the coming times, an extra low-power setting that reduces the frequency and heart rate readings of the GPS.
How to turn on Apple Watch Low Power Mode
- Make sure your Apple Watch is running watchOS 9
- Swipe up from the bottom of your watch face to view Control Center
- Tap Battery Percentage
- Tap the toggle next to Low Power Mode
- Swipe down and choose to turn on or off for 1, 2, or 3 days
