Open Settings → Network and Internet → Sim → Preferred network type → Choose 5G
OnePlus
Open Settings → Wi-Fi and networks → SIM & Network → Preferred network type → Select 2G / 3G / 4G / 5G (auto connect)
Oppo
Open Settings → Connection and Sharing → Tap on SIM 1 or SIM 2 → Choose Preferred Network Type – 2G/3G/4G/5G (Auto Connect)
Realme
Open Settings → Connection and Sharing → Tap on SIM 1 or SIM 2 → Choose Preferred Network Type – 2G/3G/4G/5G (Auto Connect)
Vivo/iQoo
Open Settings → Sim 1 or Sim 2 → mobile network → Tap on Network Mode – Select 5G Mode
Xiaomi/Poco
Open Settings → SIM card and mobile network → Preferred network type → Choose Prefer 5G
How to get 5G internet speed on smartphone
Once you have followed all the settings and steps mentioned above, your phone will be ready to run 5G. Now, all you have to do is visit the place where 5G services are available. As soon as your phone detects a 5G network in your area, it will automatically switch to the 5G network. Once the 5G logo appears on the top of your phone instead of the 4G or LTE logo, then you know that the phone has 5G enabled. Just go to Speed Test App and check speed.
