[ad_1]

Metro Train Technology: Metro Rail has played a major role in providing transport facilities to many people. Traveling in the metro saves time, and the problem of getting stuck in traffic ends. Now before moving ahead let us know what all this metro is all about. Metro is such a transportation system, through which many people can travel from one place to another very easily at a time. Metro train is also called MRTS. This is a very convenient, fast, efficient and reliable means. It doesn’t even cost much energy. It runs on electricity, so it is eco-friendly and does not spread pollution.

How does Metro train run?

Metro Rail runs on electricity. Metro works on the principal of DC shunt motor. Gear is not used in this. There are mainly two things in Metro, one is the microcontroller and the other is the voice recorder chip speaker. When power is given to the system, then the train moves forward, and it continues to move till then. Unless an RF card is placed under the track. Actually, Encoded RF transmitter is kept in the station. The microcontroller is programmed in such a way that all the station names are already stored in that chip. A unique code is given at each station.

Whenever the train reaches that station, the receiver of the train gets that code, which is sent by the transmitter and the microcontroller receives it. After that he finds that code in his Look Up Table. If the code is found, the controller directs the sound to play. The sound is for 6 seconds. The train stops. The train stops for about 10 seconds. Then the second announcement is made for the departure of the train and the train moves ahead.

Today’s metro is quite modern

Nowadays, LCD module has been installed inside the train, for the convenience of the passengers, the names of the coming stations are already visible on the screen. The current metro is quite modern, in which the facility of latest technology like Centralized Automatic Train Control (CATC), Automatic Train Operational (ATO), Automatic Train Protection (ATP) and Automatic Train Signaling (ATS) system has been installed. Along with announcements and station names, route maps are now being shown on the LCD screen.
