Siraj also revealed the secret of his success. Siraj said, “The 2019 IPL proved to be very bad for me. I used to prove very expensive. But the lockdown changed me. I did gym during the lockdown and practiced bowling a lot. I got success in ODIs. I have tried to repeat the same success in IPL.
Lived up to the trust of Captain Kohli
Siraj has already given the credit of his success to Virat Kohli. Despite a very poor performance in 2019, RCB retained Siraj because of captain Virat Kohli. In 2020, Siraj lived up to this trust and since then he never looked back again.
Siraj was also able to make his Test debut for India on the tour of Australia in 2020 due to his brilliant performance in the IPL. Siraj has now become India’s front line bowler in ODIs and Tests.
