Hero MotoCorp Hikes Prices: If you are planning to buy a motorcycle scooter for yourself in the coming festive season, then there is going to be a shock of inflation. Those buying two-wheelers will now have to pay higher prices. The country’s largest two-wheeler company Hero MotoCorp has decided to increase the prices of its motorcycles and scooters. The increased prices have come into effect from today i.e. Thursday 22 September 2022.

In a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges, Hero MotoCorp said that due to rising commodity prices, the way the cost has increased (Rising Input Cost), the cost of manufacturing two-wheelers has increased. Due to which the company has decided to increase the price of its motorcycles and scooters by Rs 1,000. Hero MotoCorp said that the price of motorcycle scooter is being increased from today itself. The prices have been increased by up to Rs 1,000. But it will be decided on the basis of model and market.

Hero MotoCorp has increased the prices for the third time in the year 2022. Earlier it was decided to increase the price by Rs 2,000 from January 1, 2022, then Rs 3,000 from July 1. Now it has been decided to increase the prices by Rs 1,000 from September 22.

Hero Motocorp is also going to enter the electric vehicle segment. Next month the company is going to launch electric vehicle under the name of Vida brand.
