Amarnath Yatra: Amarnath Yatra is starting from 1st July. In this journey which lasts for more than 60 days, a large number of Shiv devotees go to visit Baba Barfani. For this they have to get registered. During this, the medical test of the pilgrims is also done. Only those who are fit in this test can go for the journey. However, it is also not necessary that even after getting fit in the medical test, there will be no problem in going to such a height. Sometimes there can be a lack of oxygen at high altitudes. In this case, caution should be taken. Experts say that heart patients should not go for Amarnath Yatra.
Why heart patients should not go on Amarnath Yatra
1. Risk of heart attack
According to experts, there has been a rise in heart disease in the last two years. Being at a height of several thousand feet, Amarnath Yatra can cause sudden problems in the body. The weather and conditions are also completely different in that area. In such a situation, if heart patients are going on this journey, then they may have a problem of BP. Sometimes there is a risk of heart attack when the oxygen level is low.
2. Decreased oxygen level
According to health experts, whenever we go to a high altitude place, the oxygen level of the body may decrease. Due to lack of oxygen, the heart muscle is not able to pump blood properly, or it has to work harder for its pumping. Due to this, there is a risk of inflammation in the body. Because of this, there is pressure on the arteries of the heart. This can cause heart attack. There is also a risk of death due to this.
3. Problems of fatigue and stress
Doctors tell that a lot of climbing has to be done on the Amarnath Yatra. Due to excessive effort in this, the stress of the body can increase. Because of this, there can be a problem of high blood pressure. In such a situation, heart patients may have problems. That’s why it is advised that heart patients who take medicines should avoid going on this journey.
