R Ashwin said, ‘This season also he scored close to 600 runs. He has given a strong reply with his performance. His batting average has been more than 100 in the last three seasons. The strike rate has also been good. Sarfaraz Khan is not only breaking the selection doors but also burning them. Unfortunately, he is not able to get selected. Despite not being selected, he played a brilliant inning against Delhi.
Sarfaraz’s strong first class career
Sarfaraz Khan has so far scored runs in 54 innings of 37 matches in first class cricket at a batting average of 79.65. He has already scored 3505 runs in his short first class career. These include 13 centuries and 9 half-centuries. He has also scored a triple century once. For the last three seasons, his bat has been on fire. Despite this, this player has not been able to find a place in the Test team till now. After the tour of Bangladesh, this player was not selected even against Australia.
