Free distribution of ration (wheat-rice) under NFSA in Uttar Pradesh is going to start from 20 February 2023. Which will run in the entire state till 28 February. Earlier, wheat-rice-millet was distributed from 10 to 17 February. The poor people of Uttar Pradesh are going to get the benefit of free ration for the second time this month. It may be known that under NFSA, free ration is being distributed to all the card holders this whole year i.e. till December 2023.

The ration of December 2022 was given to the people in January 2023. While the free ration for January 2023 has been distributed in the month of February so far. After this, now the government has issued an order for distribution of free ration for the month of February.
How much will you get wheat and rice
The distribution of free ration (wheat-rice) at government ration shops in Uttar Pradesh will start from February 20. Under this, free ration of 5 kg (2 kg wheat and 3 kg rice) per unit will be distributed to eligible household card holders and 35 kg (14 kg wheat and 21 kg rice) to Antyodaya card holders. Now in the next month of March, the card holders will get ration for the month of March only. Means distribution will start once in a month.
