From June 1, the company has announced an additional salary or retention allowance of one lakh for its pilots and Rs 50 thousand for officers, which will be implemented from June 1.

According to Reuters report, the pilot of GoFirst is currently being given Rs 5.3 lakh per month. A few days after the flight was canceled by GoFirst, Air India conducted walk-in interviews for pilots in Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai, in which 700 pilots applied. At the time GoFirst stopped operating the flight, the company had 700 pilots. At present, the company has 500 pilots.
GoFirst announces Retention Allowance
However, both Air India and Go First companies have not yet given any statement regarding this. At the same time, 75 pilots of Go First have started training on operation policy, manual and other aspects. These pilots will be given simulator training before joining duty. At the same time, Kaushik Khona, the chief officer of GoFirst, announced a retention allowance to prevent pilots from resigning from the company. This announcement will be given to those pilots who were on the payroll of the airline till May 31 and also to those who are ready to withdraw their resignation.
