Adam Gilchrist And Mark Waugh Playing 11 For 2022 T20 World Cup: Australian cricket legends Adam Gilchrist and Mark Waugh have said that power-hitter Tim David should be in the playing XI in the 2022 T20 World Cup to be played in Australia. He believes that the team management should think of including either Steve Smith or Marcus Stoinis.

26-year-old Tim David scored only 18 and two runs for Australia in the first two matches of the T20 series against India, but in the third match, this explosive batsman scored a half-century.

This was Tim David’s first T20I series for Australia. David has also played 14 T20 Internationals for Singapore. He has participated in franchise cricket around the world including the domestic T20 league season and the Indian Premier League. He has impressed both Gilchrist and Waugh with his explosive batting.

Fox Cricket commentator Adam Gilchrist was quoted by the ICC as saying, “Tim David should find a place in the World Cup squad. From the way he plays and the different conditions we’ve seen him do around the world in the last 18 months.” In fact everyone will be scared.”

He continued, “It’s a role that Australia have never really tried to fill, with someone who knows they will only get 15 or 20 balls.”

Waugh has also said something similar on David. Waugh said, “I have included Tim David in my playing XI at the moment. It can change with form, but it will be a very good team for me.” However, these two veteran players differ on who should leave the team for David.

Mark Waugh dropped legendary batsman and former captain Steve Smith from his best team, while Gilchrist kept Smith in the team and dropped Marcus Stoinis from the team.
