It is being said that Apple is unaware of the discussion about the iPhone between Wistron and the Tata Group, but since 2017 the iPhone is being assembled in India. In India, first Wistron and then Foxconn set up an assembly unit for the manufacturing of iPhones and at the same time the Government of India is also trying to increase local manufacturing.

Deal between Wistron and Tata Group

According to reports, it is believed that the Tata Group will take advantage of the expertise of technology manufacturing by buying a stake in Wistron’s manufacturing business. According to reports, several options have been discussed regarding the deal between Wistron and Tata Group, out of which the first option is that the Tata Group should take some partnership in Wistron India and the second option is that both of them together repair a new assembly unit. The third option could be that Wistron and Tata Group move on to both the options together.
