The Vande Bharat Express covered the distance of 455 kilometers between the country’s financial capital Mumbai and major textile city Solapur in 6 hours 30 minutes. This will improve connectivity between the two cities and facilitate travel to important pilgrimage centers like Siddheshwar, Akkalkot, Tuljapur, Pandharpur in Solapur and Alandi in Pune district.
Mumbai-Shirdi will take 2 hours less
The time taken by Vande Bharat Express between Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi has reduced by about 2 hours from the present time. It is taking 5 hours 25 minutes to travel 343 km from Mumbai to the pilgrimage centers of Nasik, Trimbakeshwar and Shani Shingnapur.
