Currently Sri Lanka and New Zealand ODI series are being played. The last match of the series will be played on 8 March. Apart from this, T20 series is being played between Ireland and Bangladesh. These foreign players will not be able to play the opening matches of IPL
Gujarat Titans- David Miller will join Gujarat Titans on 3rd April due to ODI matches to be played against Netherlands.
Lucknow Super Giants- South African player Quinton de Kock will also join Lucknow on 3rd April.
Chennai Super Kings- Mahish Teekshana and Mathisha Parithan will not be available for Chennai in the first three matches of IPL. Both the players will join CSK from 8th April.
Punjab Kings- Kasigo Rabada and Liam Liam Livingstone will not be available for Team Punjab at least in the first match. Rabada will join the team on 3 April.
Sunrisers Hyderabad- Marco Jansen, Heinrich Klaasen and captain Aiden Markram will join the squad on 3 April. All three players will miss the first match of IPL.
Kolkata Knight Riders- Bangladesh players Littus Das and Shakib Al Hasan will join the team on 8th April. In such a situation, both the players will miss at least 2 matches of IPL. At the same time, due to the series against Ireland in May, he will leave the tournament midway.
Delhi Capitals- Another Bangladesh player Mustafizur Rahman will also join the team on 8th April. Apart from this, Lungi Ngidi and Enrique Norkia will also not be present in the first match for Delhi Capitals.
