Foxconn Chairman Young Liu has met Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao (K.Chandrasekhar Rao, Telangana Chief Minister) on Thursday. After this meeting, it has been announced to install this setup. Foxconn and the Government of Telangana have signed this agreement at Pragati Bhavan, the official residence of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) of CM Rao has informed about this. Through this historic agreement, jobs will be given to more than 1 lakh people in the state in a period of 10 years. How much this Taiwanese company will invest in the state has not been disclosed.
Expressed happiness over Foxconn’s investment
CM KCR said, Foxconn’s electronics manufacturing setup unit will help in generating large scale employment for the youth. It will also help in attracting more such industries in the state. Telangana considers Taiwan a natural partner, he said, adding that the state is happy to be a part of Foxconn’s growth story. On this occasion, State IT and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao, some other ministers and top officials were also present.

KCR and Liu discussed the importance of diversifying electronics manufacturing and the important role to be played by state governments. CM Chandrasekhar Rao says that the government has been successful in implementing the new industrial policy, which is attracting huge investment in Telangana. KCR said that Foxconn’s huge investment and the opportunity to create more than 1 lakh jobs in Telangana is commendable. The CM has also assured the chairman of Foxconn that the state government will provide all assistance to the electronics company for its operations in the state.
