Mulayam Singh Yadav Education: Samajwadi Party founder and three-time Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away on Monday. Mulayam Singh Yadav was ill for a long time and was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on 1 October for treatment. He died on 10 October morning at Medanta Hospital. After the death of Mulayam Singh, his son Akhilesh Yadav, brother Shivpal Yadav and daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav have reached Delhi. Earlier, about three months ago, his wife Sadhana Gupta also passed away.

In 1989, Mulayam Singh Yadav became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for the first time. After this, Mulayam Singh Yadav founded the Samajwadi Party in 1992. In 1993, Mulayam became the CM of the state for the second time in alliance with the BSP. After this, in the year 2003, Mulayam Singh became the CM of UP for the last time.

Mulayam Singh Yadav was born on 22 November 1939 in Saifai, Etawah district. Mulayam Singh remained in politics for more than 55 years. He was first elected MLA from Jaswant Nagar in UP in 1967. Mulayam was elected MLA eight times, and was elected Lok Sabha MP seven times. In 1996, he became the Defense Minister in the UPA government.

Mulayam Singh Yadav did his BA in Political Science from Karmakshetra Post Graduate College, Etawah. After this he joined politics and did MA in Political Science from Agra University. Later, after doing BT, he was appointed as a spokesperson in the Inter College. But after joining politics, he had resigned from the government job.
