Former Indian Player Sudhir Naik: Sudhir Naik, the former opening batsman of the Indian team, died on the evening of 5 April at the age of 78. Sudhir Naik had a fall some time ago, which hurt his head and he was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai, after which there was no improvement in his condition despite being treated there for several days, due to which He passed away.

Talking about Sudhir Naik’s career, he has played for India at the international level in Tests and formats, in which he has played 3 matches in Tests and 2 matches in ODIs. With the bat of Sudhir Naik, 141 runs were seen in the Test format while he scored 38 runs in ODIs. He was also the first player to hit a four in the ODI format for India, which he did in his ODI debut.
