Financial Inclusion Campaign: The Finance Ministry will run a special financial inclusion campaign from October 15. This campaign will be run so that a satisfactory level of bank accounts can be achieved and Kisan Credit Card coverage can be expanded so that more and more farmers can be covered under it. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will launch this financial inclusion campaign.
The Finance Ministry tweeted that this campaign will run from October 15 to November 26. In this, special attention will be given to linking existing accounts with mobile and Aadhar numbers and doing the entire process of ‘Know Your Customer’ or KYC.

The tweet further said that the Ministry of Finance will organize a special campaign from October 15 to November 26, 2022, taking forward the process of financial inclusion. In this campaign of the Ministry of Finance, the focus will be on achieving satisfactory level of bank accounts, insurance or pension scheme for the eligible people. Along with this, focus will also be kept on the expansion of Aadhaar linked accounts. Discussions will also be held on how to proceed in the schemes of bringing the general public under financial inclusion through banks as well as other institutions.
