FIFA WC: From Nora Fatehi to BTS’s performance, know when and where to watch the opening ceremony

FIFA World Cup 2022 Opening Ceremony: The date and timing of the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2022, starting in Qatar, has been revealed but the performance line-up has not been announced yet. That is, till now it is not clear which artists will be seen performing to the audience in the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup will be held on November 20 at the Al Bait Stadium in Al Khor. The distance of this stadium from North Doha is about 35 km. The opening ceremony will start at 5 pm local time, that is, it will start at 7.30 pm Indian time. This event will start just two hours before the first match. Let us tell you that the first match will be played between Qatar and Ecuador at 9.30 pm.

These artists can come
FIFA has not yet revealed the names of the artists who took part in the opening ceremony. But there are reports that Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi will be seen singing the official song of this tournament ‘Light the Sky’. Hip hop artist ‘Black Eyed Peace’ and Korean pop band BTS have also discussed performances. Colombian singer Shakira, English pop star Dua Lipa, American rapper Lil Baby and Nigerian singer Kiss Daniel are also said to be appearing on stage.

Viacom-18 holds the broadcast rights for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in India. In such a situation, all matches from FIFA’s opening ceremony will be telecast on this network’s channel ‘Sports-18’. Opening ceremony and live streaming of all matches will be available on ‘Jio Cinema’ app.
