FCI Wheat Selling Price in India: The Modi Government at the Center is making every possible effort to control the rising prices of wheat and flour across the country. For this, e-auction of wheat is going to be held once again in the open market from the Food Corporation of India under the Ministry of Food. Although this is the third e-auction of wheat. 11.72 lakh tonnes of wheat offered
In the third e-auction to be held next week by FCI, 11.72 lakh tonnes of wheat will be offered for sale to flour millers and bulk consumers associated with wheat. In this regard, the Food Ministry says that FCI has planned to sell 2.5 million tonnes of wheat to bulk consumers under the Open Market Sale Scheme (OMSS) till March 15 to control the rising prices of wheat and flour. For which work is being done with great speed.
This much wheat was sold in two auctions
Before this, the last two e-auctions (Wheat e-auction) have been organized under the OMSS scheme. About 12.98 lakh tonnes of wheat was sold in the open market in both these e-auctions, out of which 8.96 lakh tonnes have already been lifted by the bidders. Due to this effort, a decline has been observed in the retail prices of wheat and flour in the market.
3rd E-Auction on 22nd
According to the Food Ministry, FCI is going to organize the third e-auction on 22 February 2023 at 11.00 am. In this auction, 11.72 lakh tonnes of wheat will be offered for sale from 620 depots across the country. The government has reduced the price fixed for the sale of wheat under the OMSS scheme to bring down the prices of wheat and flour.

If you want to participate in the auction, you have to register yourself on the e-portal of M-junction by 10.00 pm on Friday night. Which will allow all the bidders to participate in this auction. Along with this, the last date for depositing and uploading the earnest money has been given to the bidders till 2:30 pm on February 21.
How much was the price of wheat
The fixed price of wheat of proper quality in the country has decreased from earlier. Now its price has come down to Rs 2,150 per quintal. The fixed price of some low quality wheat has reached Rs 2,125 per quintal. These newly fixed prices will be applicable for third sale wheat through e-auction.
