Aadhaar Based e-KYC Transactions: The general public has expressed confidence in the use of Aadhaar Card. People have seen an increase in Aadhaar Based e-KYC Transaction. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has informed that Aadhaar Based e-KYC Transaction has increased by 22 percent on a monthly basis to reach 28.75 crore in the month of November 2022. UIDAI said in an official statement that the total number of e-KYC transactions has crossed 1,350 crore.
Know how much Aadhaar transaction happened
Aadhaar verified transactions increased by 11 percent in the month of November this year, and stood at 195.39 crore. UIDI says, “Continuous progress is being seen in the use of Aadhaar by residents across the country. In November alone, 28.75 crore e-KYC transactions have taken place using Aadhaar. This is 22 percent more than the previous month. By the end of November, 2022, the total number of e-KYC transactions has increased to 1,350.24 crore.

More than 1,100 government schemes, programs run by both the Center and the States in the country have been notified to use Aadhaar (Aadhaar based e-KYC Transactions). Digital ID is helping various Ministries and Departments at the Center and States to improve efficiency, transparency and delivery of welfare services to the targeted beneficiaries. Aadhaar-Enabled Payment System (AEPS) transactions have cumulatively reached 1,591.92 crore till the end of November.

Aadhaar e-KYC is being used on a large scale in the banking sector in the country. This is helping a lot in making the banking process transparent. There will be a separate process for getting Aadhaar e-KYC done, in which the Aadhaar holder will have to go and get the verification done in person.
