Let us tell you that Twitter had decided to charge $ 8 from those users who want the premium blue tick badge, but as soon as the service was started, many ‘Fake Verified’ accounts surfaced on Twitter, due to which Musk had to reconsider his decision. Twitter’s new plans
Twitter introduced a new verification badge feature, showing a ‘grey tick’ mark on official accounts, to curb the rise in fake accounts, but withdrew it shortly after it was introduced.
