IPO Update: Huge ups and downs are being seen in the stock market in 2023. In such a situation, companies are now shying away from bringing IPO. Companies were afraid that their IPO might be rejected by the investors, the IPO might not get a lukewarm response. This is the reason that despite getting approval from the stock market regulator SEBI, companies are putting the decision to bring IPO in cold storage.

In the last six months, even after getting approval from SEBI, 27 companies did not come up with IPOs due to poor market mood. The approval received by these companies from SEBI lapsed. Next month also, the time limit for bringing IPO for 5 companies will end. Let us tell you that within one year of getting approval from SEBI, the company has to launch IPO. If companies do not bring IPO in this period, then they have to file draft paper again with the regulator.
