Tata Motors To Hike Prices: Tata Motors has once again announced to increase the prices of its vehicles. The company is going to increase the prices of its commercial vehicles from April 1, 2023. In a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges, Tata Motors said that the company’s efforts to strictly comply with the BS6 Phase-II emission norms have led it to take the decision to hike prices. The company said that all its vehicle portfolio is going to comply with these standards. Customers and vehicle owners can look forward to cleaner, greener and technologically advanced vehicles. They are going to get many benefits from this. Along with this, the cost of maintenance of vehicles will also be less.
Tata Motors said that the price hike will be applicable across all range of commercial vehicles. And the increase in prices will depend on the variant and model. Tata Motors is the largest commercial vehicle manufacturing company in the country. Earlier, from February 1, Tata Motors has also increased the prices of its passenger vehicles. Then Tata Motors had said that due to the increase in the cost of making the vehicle, the company has decided to increase the price.
The new emission norms are going to come into effect from 1 April 2023. Under this, the sales of vehicles that do not meet the norms of BS 6 Stage 2 will be stopped. Under the new rules, more such engines are being installed which will be fuel efficient and which will help in reducing CO2 emissions.
This information has come from Tata Motors after the stock market closed. Earlier, the share of Tata Motors closed at Rs 412.55 with a gain of 0.44 per cent.
