Application fee
For other candidates applying for these posts, Rs 400 will have to be paid as application fee. On the other hand, OBC candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200. On the other hand, SC, ST and Divyang candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates applying for these posts should have a degree in Botany in M.Sc. For this, at least 55 percent marks should be obtained. Must have MSc degree in Plant Toxomology in any Plant Group. Along with this, there should be working knowledge of computer. Along with this, you should have good analytical ability.
Fellowship Details
On getting selected for JRF, the candidate will get a fellowship of Rs 31000 per month for two years and Rs 35000 per month from the third year. Apart from this, house rent allowance will also be available as per rules. The Junior Research Fellowship will be initially for two years. One can be appointed as Senior Research Fellow in the third year after work assessment. Senior Research Fellowship can be extended up to two years on the basis of performance.
Age Range
The maximum age of candidates for JRF is 28 years. SC and ST category, handicapped and female candidates will get five years relaxation in the upper age limit. Whereas OBC non creamy layer candidates will get 3 years relaxation in age limit.
